Bird brain atlases

This is a page with figures, 3D atlases, and some quick data from the brain atlas datasets, analysed using the birdbrain python package. If you use any of this data, please cite the corresponding dataset. If you want to explore the datasets more extensively, use the python package (or any other software for looking at imaging data).

All descriptive statistics here are back-of-the-envelope and based upon voxels in the corresponding atlas. The estimation of number of neurons assumes equal density and is based on the volume presented in Olkowicz (2016)
